Warehouse Stocker

At Restaurant Depot, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker - Aisle to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to internal and external customers.
• Stock product on shelves, including removing boxes from pallets and placing them on shelves, and opening boxes to restock shelves.
• Organize and front-face items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
• Perform regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in reviewing inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damage.
• Verify shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the most recent pricing.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by following a regular maintenance schedule, including scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath.
• Identify and report any safety hazards on the department floors and promptly and safely handle any spills and remove any trash.
• Work with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves.
• Notify supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.

Physical Demands:

• Walk/stand on concrete for up to 10 hours/day.
• Frequently turn, stand, reach, stoop, and/or bend.
• Frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs.
• Frequently lift/carry objects over 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Frequently exposed to cold/freezing temperatures.
• Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters).
• Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned.
• May be required to work in other departments as needed.
