Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Impound Specialist to join our team at OneMain Financial. As an Impound Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and effective placement of impound repossession assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review incoming impound notices and contact holding facilities to obtain details
  • Follow up with customers or appropriate agencies to ensure compliance with State and Federal requirements
  • Maintain vendor relationships, including assignment follow-up, fee authorizations, and invoice approvals
  • Send state notifications and process invoicing for repossessed vehicles
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 1+ year Collections experience preferred
  • Knowledge of repossessions and auto loans preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities to prevent loan loss
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • 1+ year office experience or equivalent education and training
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
  • Excellent Customer Service
