We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Perianesthesia team at Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit. As a PACU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing various procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients with various conditions and acuity levels.
- Utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care and consult with other healthcare team members as needed.
- Perform patient care tasks, delegate tasks to other patient care staff, and supervise patient care activities.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
