Key Responsibilities:- Develop elegant and high-performing code as part of a team of engineers
- Ensure quality practices through unit testing, code reviews, and leading tests
- Optimize applications for non-functional requirements
- Build and deploy components as part of a CI/CD process
- Responsible for end-to-end application delivery, including coordination with required teams for production deployment
- Continuously monitor application health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues as needed
- Collaborate in solving complex data, features, service, and platform issues, and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues
- At least 6-8 years of experience developing microservices and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework, JPA (Java Persistence API), and similar tech stacks
- Experience working with unit testing using frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, JBehave
- Build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. as part of a CI/CD process
- Experience working in Google Cloud Platform, with GCP knowledge required for offshore and preferred for onshore but any one cloud knowledge is required
- Experience with any relational database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Designing, developing, and implementing custom software and database application capabilities with limited oversight
- Excellent communication skills, including design-related conversations, ability to build and nurture good relationships, and foster an environment for collaboration
- Acting as a member of the team, supporting teammates, and collaborating with team success
