Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Utility, you will engage in learning and assisting with various tasks related to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Your role will support preventative maintenance efforts within the facility. You are expected to acquire fundamental maintenance skills and perform related duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in executing basic maintenance tasks as per assigned work orders.
  • Understand safety protocols and communicate concerns effectively.
  • Continuously develop new skills and enhance your maintenance knowledge.
  • Collaborate and foster relationships with team members throughout the facility.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer applications.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and demonstrate proficiency in basic technical competencies.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and HACCP.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Capability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated by operational areas.
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment.
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Adaptability to a machine-paced continuous process operating 24/7, with varying conditions such as:
    • Extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
    • Indoor and outdoor environments.
    • Dusty and noisy conditions.
    • Frequent movement and vibration from equipment.
    • Working at elevated heights, including stairs and ladders.
    • Performing tasks at a computer and other administrative duties.
Additional Considerations:
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
  • All employment offers are contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and/or drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Team members must maintain a clean-shaven appearance to ensure proper fit for respiratory protection equipment.
