Service Tire Truck Centers, a leading provider of truck tires and mechanical services, is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, federal inspections, troubleshooting, and general repairs on tractors, trailers, and straight trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and federal inspections on trucks and trailers.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems.
  • Use diagnostic software for problem-solving and repair.
  • Ensure compliance with state inspection regulations and standards.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and air brake systems in trucks and trailers.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic software for troubleshooting and repair.
  • State inspection certification is a plus where applicable.
  • Possession of a Class C driver's license is required; CDL is preferred.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must own a set of basic hand tools.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
