We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Pathwell Health. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic exercises and treatments as planned and supervised by the Physical Therapist
- Communicate effectively with the patient's care team and follow instructions from the assigned Physical Therapist
- Perform ongoing therapy services, including application of heat and cold, massage, gait training, and other treatments as needed
- Accurately document patient care and progress in a timely manner
- Attend meetings and conferences as required
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current and valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Recent work experience in home health (preferred)
- Driver's License, Car Insurance, and Car Registration
- Ability to work as a team member and follow agency policies and procedures
The physical demands of this position include regular talking and hearing, frequent use of hands and fingers, and occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is typically low to moderate noise level.
