Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a PICU Transport RN. As a member of our transport team, you will be responsible for providing critical care to pediatric patients during transport to and from our hospital. This is a PRN position, offering flexibility and autonomy in your schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients during transport
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in pediatric critical care or transport nursing
