Job Details:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop a therapeutic program tailored to their requirements
  • Consider medical records and conduct personal observations and talks with patients and their loved ones
  • Execute a therapeutic program targeted toward the patient's needs
  • Keep current on communal and therapeutic resources available to best help patients
  • Document a patient's progress during activities
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 36 months as a Recreational Therapist
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
