Sigma Healthcare Team is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at our client's facility in Grand Marais, MN.

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, this role will perform imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment, prepare and administer contrast media, perform Intravenous contrast injections, and operate X-ray equipment.
  • Prepare patient's room, equipment, supplies, and medications.
  • Ensure quality control and enforcement of Enloe Medical Centers Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and policies and procedures.
  • Support and contribute to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department.
Requirements
  • One year experience in CT.
  • Current CPR Certification & Fluoroscopy permit.
  • Previous CT scanning experience, experience with Client scanners preferred.
  • Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Radiographic contrast media and venapuncture certification.
  • Current license issued by ARRT.
  • Advanced certification in CT.
Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic and CT technologist.

Must be intelligent and self-motivated with excellent communication and critical thinking skills, and problem-solving techniques are required.
