We are seeking a skilled Automotive Restoration Specialist to join our team at Music City Recon in Cookeville, TN.
As an Automotive Restoration Specialist, you will be responsible for meticulously cleaning and restoring vehicles to their original showroom condition. This involves using various equipment and solutions to deep clean interior components, including carpets, upholstery, and leather.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess excellent attention to detail, active listening skills, and the ability to work with strong detergents and chemicals while wearing protective gear.
Key Responsibilities- Restore vehicles according to dealership specifications, ensuring a pristine exterior and interior.
- Clean and condition vinyl and leather surfaces, revitalizing their appearance.
- Rigorous cleaning of all dirt, grease, and tar from the vehicle's exterior, paying close attention to details.
- Pressure wash the engine and remove grease from other parts under the hood, maintaining a spotless environment.
- Apply a protective wax coating on an as-needed basis to preserve the vehicle's finish.
- Thoroughly clean all glass surfaces, both inside and out, using the appropriate materials and techniques.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Detailed oriented with the ability to follow complex instructions and maintain a high level of quality control.
- Active listener with sound judgment and multi-tasking skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work with strong detergents and chemicals, willingness to wear protective gear, and a valid driving license.
A competitive annual salary of $40,000 per year, paid biweekly at approximately $1,923 per pay period, providing a stable financial foundation for your career growth.
