Program Security Officer

Job Summary:

The Program Security Officer will be responsible for providing security advice and assistance to various stakeholders, including customers, industrial partners, and vendors. Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Offering security expertise and guidance to ensure protection of classified information
  • Conducting inspections and accreditation of contractor facilities
  • Developing security documentation and processes
  • Collaborating with customers to ensure compliance with security requirements
  • Investigating security incidents and supporting employees through clearance processes
  • Creating briefing materials and conducting security awareness training

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in national security programs or relevant industry security
  • Knowledge of security regulations including NISPOM, DCIDS, and ICDs
  • Ability to work independently and in dynamic teams
  • Experience with compartmented programs and COMSEC functions
  • Proficiency in writing official reports
  • US government issued Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph required
