Excela Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Med/Surg team. As a LPN, you will provide direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs of patients in accordance with physicians' orders, AOA, OSHA, nursing and department policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- Assist in the implementation of the patient's treatment plan
- Communicate with RN and report any changes, to medical orders, radiological results, laboratory results, or patient status
- Participate in hospital wide performance improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Participate in nursing and hospital committees as appropriate
Requirements:
- Graduate of a State Board approved program of practical nursing
- Holds a current Pennsylvania state license as licensed practical nurse
- Certified in basic CPR
