Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Career and Technical Education Program Support Specialist. This role will play a critical part in coordinating work-based learning opportunities and employability skills lessons, serving as a district liaison to the outside community, industry partners, and parents, and collaborating with district personnel to facilitate the awareness and development of Career and Technical programs and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work-based learning opportunities and employability skills lessons
  • Serve as a district liaison to the outside community, industry partners, and parents
  • Serve as department liaison to teachers, campuses, and other departments
  • Collaborate with district personnel for the purpose of facilitating the awareness and development of Career and Technical programs and events
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree
  • Three years experience in an instructional para position in an educational setting
  • Three years experience in a clerical para position in an educational setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Accuracy in use of computer - Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry, Canva
  • Demonstrated ability as instructional support for staff and students
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary
  • Media platforms including Google Sites, Instagram, Facebook, Skylert
Working Conditions

This position is an Admin Support PG5 / 225 Days position with a starting salary of $33,840.
