Position Overview:

  • Accountable for the upkeep of the facility, including heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensures adherence to local and national safety regulations.
  • Maintains the premises in a visually appealing and functional condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts a variety of maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Handles repairs and upkeep of ventilation systems, plumbing, electrical installations, refrigeration, drywall, painting, furnishings, fixtures, and landscaping.
  • Keeps maintenance workspaces organized and tidy.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains piping and fixtures for water and gas distribution across the facility.
  • Operates and performs minor repairs on existing electrical systems.
  • Engages in carpentry tasks, including cabinetry, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Services sprinkler systems, outdoor lighting, and concrete surfaces.
  • Maintains all maintenance tools and equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Receives incoming shipments and informs relevant departments of delivery arrivals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or completion of a technical or vocational program.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in maintenance and power plant operations.
  • At least two years of general maintenance experience with a focus on electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills.

All new employees must successfully complete pre-employment assessments, including background checks, drug screenings, and health evaluations.
