Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will provide exceptional service to our customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to develop a repair plan
  • Communicate repair plans to the Service Advisor and execute repairs safely, effectively, and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Recommend additional services to customers during inspection reviews
  • Ensure the safety of both customers and employees

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an acceptable trade school or manufacturer's technical school, or previous mechanic experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised and flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Meet physical demands of the job with or without accommodation
