Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a critical role in our early mobility program in the ICU setting, working closely with Physical Therapists to ensure patients receive the highest quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in every stage of mobility, from bed activities to ambulation, using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with open communication with physicians to ensure optimum mobility while maintaining safety and proper precautions.
  • Participate in a seven-day work schedule, including one weekend day.
Qualifications
  • NYS licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Desire to work hard and make a difference in patient care.
