Planning Analyst

As a Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Sales organization and Management by providing timely and relevant analysis of our commercial performance and market activities. You will operate in a key analyst role for Volvo CE North America, driving volume forecasts within the region.

• Develop and maintain accurate and timely volume forecasts for the region.
• Collaborate with Sales, S&OP, and Operations Teams to ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Establish and provide regular monthly data reporting of relevant forecast data consistent with executive directions.
• Support global sales and operations planning (S&OP) projects to enhance and improve Volvo's forecasting process and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of progressive experience in Financial Analysis and/or Sales Analysis.
• Experience with construction or heavy equipment industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
