We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paramedic to join our team at AmeriPro EMS of Kentucky LLC. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including ambulances, hospitals, and other medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care to patients, including assessing their condition, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
- Operate ambulances and other emergency medical vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct daily inspections of ambulances and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Document patient care and other activities in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current certification as a Paramedic (NREMT-P) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paramedic or in a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience working as a Paramedic or in a similar medical role.
- Additional certification or advanced training in emergency services, such as Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
- Technology proficiency, including experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
