Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Rochester, New York. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with the possibility of extension. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, and have the opportunity to earn a tax-free stipend. Our client is a reputable hospital that values its staff and provides a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Surgical Tech National Certificate
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 2 years of relevant experience
