Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is a leading provider of social services, dedicated to empowering vulnerable populations and fostering vibrant communities. As a Child Welfare Case Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children and families across the state of Florida.

The primary objective of this position is to provide comprehensive case management services, establishing meaningful relationships with clients and families while upholding the agency's core values. To achieve this, you will:
  • Accept cases assigned by your supervisor and conduct home visits within 2 working days, documenting all activities in the Florida Safe Families Network database within 48 hours.
  • Negotiate and develop case plans in collaboration with clients, Guardian Ad Litem, foster parents, and other relevant parties, with the goal of reunification or other permanency for the child.
  • Accurately document all case activities, maintain physical case files, and submit court documentation within required time frames.
  • Complete and submit service requests, develop and maintain knowledge of community resources, and participate in individual case staffing as necessary.
