Job Title: School Nurse RN or LPN

We are seeking a responsible Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide nursing services to students in our contracted school(s) for General and Special Education.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have pediatric nursing experience and be able to support student needs as described in the medical and medication management plan. The position is a part-time role, working Mondays and Thursdays, with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Support student needs as described in the medical and medication management plan according to physician and parent.
  • Support student ADLs and IADLs with support from Para-Educator as assigned.
  • Consult with Parent as required by Principal and/or Teacher for specific additions/deletions/changes necessary for the medical and medication plan.
  • Collaborate with staff as requested for student safety issues.
Requirements:
  • Active nursing license in the State of Michigan.
  • Proof of education level.
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
