Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mounter/Assembler to contribute to our production team. This role involves the precise insertion of ophthalmic lenses into frames, ensuring optimal fit and quality.
Compensation
Wage: $18.00/hr.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 1st shift - 9:00am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately insert lenses into the corresponding sides of frames.
- Ensure lenses are the correct size and fit for each frame.
- Meet specific beveling requirements for individual prescriptions.
- Align frames properly by adjusting with tools or by hand.
- Verify the axis on all multi-focal lenses.
- Inspect lenses for cosmetic quality.
- Align bifocals and progressives to ensure they are straight.
- Conduct brief inspections of frames for defects.
- Maintain proper frame alignment and ensure all screws are secure.
Additional Duties
- Assist in cross-training for other roles within the department.
- Remove eyewire screws from frames to facilitate lens insertion.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
