Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mounter/Assembler to contribute to our production team. This role involves the precise insertion of ophthalmic lenses into frames, ensuring optimal fit and quality.

Compensation
Wage: $18.00/hr.

Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 1st shift - 9:00am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately insert lenses into the corresponding sides of frames.
  • Ensure lenses are the correct size and fit for each frame.
  • Meet specific beveling requirements for individual prescriptions.
  • Align frames properly by adjusting with tools or by hand.
  • Verify the axis on all multi-focal lenses.
  • Inspect lenses for cosmetic quality.
  • Align bifocals and progressives to ensure they are straight.
  • Conduct brief inspections of frames for defects.
  • Maintain proper frame alignment and ensure all screws are secure.

Additional Duties
  • Assist in cross-training for other roles within the department.
  • Remove eyewire screws from frames to facilitate lens insertion.

Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
