Responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort and understanding
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, including positioning and radiation protection
  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images, following physician orders and guidelines
  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of X-ray equipment
Requirements
  • AART licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to use X-ray equipment independently
  • Working knowledge of PACS systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
