As a Registered Nurse in our Neurology Clinic, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering compassionate and innovative care to patients with neurological disorders.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse PRN to join our Neurology Clinic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology nursing and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to the development of our patients' care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological disorders, including general neurology, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, sleep, cerebrovascular conditions, and neuromuscular conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
  • Document patients' progress and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required.
  • Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina is required.
  • 2 years of appropriate clinical experience is required.
  • BLS is required.
