This is a full-time employed role within the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
The ideal candidate should possess board certification in Internal or Family Medicine, with comprehensive training in general medicine and a commitment to delivering patient care across diverse environments. A strong dedication to graduate medical education is essential. Responsibilities for this position include:
- Overseeing administrative functions for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, which encompasses resident supervision in both clinical and hospital settings.
- Participating in meetings, conducting candidate interviews, developing curriculum, and engaging in research activities.
- Providing direct patient care and clinical instruction while collaborating with residents.
The primary focus of this role will be on resident education, with additional responsibilities for instructing medical students and supervising advanced practice providers.
