Quantix Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Rail Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of rail cars, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

• Safe Rail Operations: Ensure the safe movement and placement of rail cars, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with rail technicians, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless rail operations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working order, and complete any necessary maintenance or repairs.
• Adherence to Procedures: Adhere to all company procedures and protocols, including those related to safety, quality, and customer service.

• Education: High school degree or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in rail operations or a related field required.
• Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Internal certifications for safe rail operating procedures required.

The Rail Operations Specialist will work in a fast-paced rail yard environment, with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The ability to work safely and effectively in this environment is essential.
