Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics

CHRISTUS Health is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics to become a vital part of the distinguished team at CHRISTUS South New Mexico Family Practice/OB Associates.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Team Structure: Comprising 1.5 Family Medicine physicians, 1 Certified Nurse Practitioner, and 6 family medicine residents in the clinic, alongside 3 OB/GYN specialists in the hospital's OB department.
- Work Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
- On-Call Duties: All healthcare providers will share on-call responsibilities through a monthly rotation with fellow OB physicians, promoting equitable workload distribution.
- Patient Care Focus: The role involves 75% outpatient care and 25% inpatient responsibilities.
- Expected Patient Load: Anticipate managing approximately 20 patients daily.
Qualifications:
- Must possess board certification or be board-eligible.
- ACOG certification in Family Medicine is required.
- Fellowship in Family Medicine Obstetrics is preferred but not mandatory.
