Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist/Packager will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of plastic bottles. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect bottles for quality defects and ensure they meet specifications.
  • Assemble, pack, close, and stack boxes efficiently.
  • Operate label makers, tape guns, and other equipment to verify quality specifications.
  • Perform secondary operations to bottles, such as applying spouts and caps.
  • Unjam conveyors, trimmers, and leak testers to maintain production flow.
  • Grind bottles and dispose of defective ones correctly.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist colleagues as needed and participate in line studies to improve efficiency.
  • Fulfill paperwork requirements accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic mathematical skills necessary for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior manufacturing experience and/or training are desirable but not required.
