Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls of the related equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
Requirements
  • Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Most states require licensure.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
