Banner Gateway Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the PCU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Minimum 24 months of current PCU experience required.
- No Nursys Hits allowed.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Banner will not approve RTO within the first two weeks or holidays.
- All shifts the traveler is open to working on should be listed on the submission.
- RTO must be less than 7 days and will not be approved in the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- All facilities the traveler is open to working should be listed on the submission.
- No candidates with an AZ home address on their drivers license will be considered - a copy must be included in submission.
