Job Summary

Hutchinson Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Operate heavy equipment such as motor graders, excavators, and dozers.
  2. Work closely with foreman/superintendent to take direction and execute tasks in the field.
  3. Lead team members and promote a positive work environment.
  4. Maintain a safe working environment and lead project safety culture.
  5. Read and interpret construction documents to direct proper construction techniques.
  6. Operate heavy equipment at a rough grade ability level, with a focus on finish grading.
  7. Track and manage field production accounts daily.
  8. Inspect work daily to ensure quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience leading earthwork, wet utility, or concrete crews.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement plans.
