Job Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Pipeline Surveyor to join our team at WSB LLC. In this role, you'll be responsible for collecting accurate data, setting stakes, and operating Trimble GPS and robotic Total Station equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attain Thorough and Accurate Data: Collect and record data with precision, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Set Stakes for Construction Surveys: Establish stakes for construction surveys, right of way, and easement, ensuring site control and safety.
- Operate Survey Equipment: Use Trimble GPS and robotic Total Station equipment to record locations of pipe welds, foreign crossings, and pothole data.
- Maintain File Management: Organize and manage project-related information, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Establish Project Site Control: Set up and maintain project site control, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
- Check Calculations: Verify calculations on cut sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Set-up and Maintain Survey Equipment: Install, calibrate, use, and maintain survey field equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Experience in Construction Surveys: One or more years of experience in construction, topographic, right of way, and boundary surveys.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Reliability and Attention to Detail: Reliable and able to follow multiple-step directions, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to Work in Varying Weather Conditions: Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel for work.
- Preferred Qualifications: Land or utility survey experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation/Geopak, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
