Salary Range

The salary range for this position is between $134,000 and $190,000 per year based on full-time employment. This amount may vary depending on your location and job-related skills and experience.


Job Description

This role involves working as a seasoned and highly skilled Software Engineering Architect who will report to the Director of Engineering and work on a variety of engineering projects across the Web-MiddleTier space.


Key Responsibilities
  • Work on technical deep dives, debugging, or performance instrumentation and analysis for hard problems in the three component teams.
  • Lead projects introducing significant architectural changes spanning the entire application stack from the Web UI through the business and orchestration layers to Data Plane services.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering and Principal Engineers to identify and drive the architecture roadmap of the components and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Deep Linux systems experience and understanding.
  • Highly skilled in several programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, node.js and React.
  • Expert understanding of distributed software systems and problems.
  • Solid understanding of MySQL and message broker software such as RabbitMQ.
