Job Summary:
The Red Bull Energy Expert is a key sales and merchandising representative responsible for promoting the sales of Red Bull in assigned accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough sales calls on assigned accounts to promote Red Bull products and develop new business opportunities.
- Work with retailers to equalize order quantities and optimize product placement.
- Utilize the PIITCHER process to improve sales and merchandising efforts.
- Communicate with the Total Beverage Sales team on deliveries and promotions.
- Ensure all point-of-sale materials are used correctly and in sufficient quantities.
- Use sales history data to inform sales calls and prevent out-of-stocks.
- Request additional placements, displays, and promotions on each sales call.
- Keep marketing plans and tracking charts up-to-date.
- Participate in incentive programs and actively seek out new business opportunities.
- Restock delivery vehicles daily with necessary materials.
- Maintain positive relationships with account owners, managers, and employees.
- Avoid contacting retailers during busy times.
- Monitor competitive activity and pursue opportunities to increase sales.
- Check and note pricing on competitive products to ensure parity.
- Pursue new placements and lower prices on special promotions.
- Request competitors' shelf space for new placements or expanded existing placements.
- Work with accounts to improve shelf position and display placement.
- Advise and train retailers on proper sales, merchandising, and pricing techniques.
- Demonstrate interest in the business success of assigned accounts.
- Maintain open and clear communications with Gulf Distributing Holdings Company and account owners.
- Report new competitive activity and price information to management.
- Share information with colleagues to benefit the company.
- Reconcile route invoices, cash, and checks daily.
- Communicate equipment needs to management.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and product rotation.
- Return close-dated product to the warehouse for re-delivery.
- Swap out-of-date product and ensure sellable packages.
- Keep vehicles clean and orderly.
- Service vehicles regularly and repair as needed.
- Dress professionally and maintain personal appearance.
- Properly operate and protect equipment.
- Conduct activities within company policies and procedures.
- Report traffic violations and accidents to management.
- Conduct activities in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
