Job Overview

Vail Resorts is seeking an experienced Advanced Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our building maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our resort assets and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and supervise preventative maintenance programs through automated systems.
  • Provide training to intermediate electricians and other maintenance staff as needed.
  • Coordinate projects with contractors when required.
  • Order and maintain required parts for stock for critical equipment for assigned areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and alert supervisors to any unsafe conditions that may exist.
  • Work with other departments and area managers as required pertaining to asset upkeep.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Apply for electrical permits as required by code, when and if possible.
  • Bide by all electrical codes, SDS, OSHA, and other regulations.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of electrical trade school (Minimum Journeyman with 3 years' experience).
  • 4 – 7 years of residential with 2-3 years of industrial wiring and switch gear experience.
  • Electrician license required. Clean valid driving license.
  • Microsoft Office experience necessary.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
