In this pivotal role, you will oversee the successful execution of diverse projects, engaging with clients and project teams to ensure adherence to timelines from initial proposal through to final billing.

Core Duties:


- Manage construction materials testing projects, including reviewing daily reports, collaborating with project teams, resolving technical and administrative challenges, and training field personnel.

- Oversee project budgets, prepare invoices, manage payment applications, and assist in collection efforts.

- Draft and evaluate proposals and change orders while prioritizing tasks according to project timelines; facilitate or participate in project meetings with clients and follow up on necessary reports.


- Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the overall growth of your team, collaborating with other managers and internal recruiters for staffing decisions.

- Effectively promote our services while fostering new and maintaining existing client relationships.

Qualifications We Seek:
Essential Requirements:


- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology; please note that degrees in Construction Management and certain Technology fields may not be eligible.

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

- Professional licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG).

- Valid driver's license and insurance for driving on behalf of ECS.

- Strong marketing acumen with the ability to build and sustain client relationships.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, reading, and writing).

- Solid understanding of heavy construction safety practices and procedures.

- Comprehensive knowledge of CMT principles, applications, and ASTM laboratory standards.

- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.
