Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Latrobe, PA. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop an appropriate treatment plan
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Promote continuous quality improvement
  • Teach and counsel patients/families
Requirements
  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
  • Current state licensure
  • Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of related experience
