Job Description

At the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CDL-A Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering food and other essential products throughout Eastern Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick up and deliver food and other products to partner agencies and donors
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with donors and agency partners
  • Ensure accurate records of vehicle operations and maintenance
  • Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractor/trailer
  • Assist with warehouse operations and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current Michigan CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes
  • Current and maintained DOT/Medical Card
  • Ability to work independently and follow standardized procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent travel throughout Eastern Michigan, including working in various weather conditions. You will be required to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
