Job Title: After School Children's Cooking Instructor

We are seeking a passionate and experienced cooking instructor to join our team at Sticky Fingers Cooking ATX. As a part-time chef instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and interactive cooking classes for children aged 3-18.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead cooking classes for children, teaching them about new ingredients, healthy foods, and cooking techniques.
  • Develop and implement creative recipes and lesson plans to engage children and promote healthy eating habits.
  • Work with children of varying ages and abilities, adapting instruction to meet their needs.
  • Manage classroom environment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and other team members to ensure a smooth and successful program.
Requirements:
  • Availability to work at least 2 days a week, Monday-Friday, 2:30-4:30 pm.
  • Commitment to teaching full sessions, ranging from 6-12 weeks.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification (can obtain before teaching).
  • Ability to manage and engage a group of 8-14 children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to communicate with our team in a timely manner.
  • Punctual and reliable.
