Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Cardiac Step Down Unit. As a Cardiac ICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to a variety of patients, including those with cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including CP rule out, STEMI, NSTEMI, post CABG, and post thoracotomy.
  • Manage arterial sheaths and monitor patients for signs of complications.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac ICU or similar setting.
  • Current licensure and certification in the state of Oklahoma or compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Recent traveler experience is highly preferred.
