Job Summary and QualificationsWe are looking for an ER Registered Nurse to join our vibrant Emergency Department. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. We pride ourselves on teamwork and are seeking a remarkable individual who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including triage, screening, preparation for examination, and general nursing care.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including documenting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications according to physician orders.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Florida Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- PALS and/or ENPC certifications are required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Current NIHSS certification is required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
