Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our team at Microchem Laboratory. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, ICP-OES, MS, and IC. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using various analytical techniques.
  • Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for testing products.
  • Interpret analytical data and prepare detailed laboratory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA, and ISO standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience with at least one analytical instrument.
  • Familiarity with USP monographs and FDA regulatory testing procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot instrument issues.
  • Experience working in a GMP/GLP regulated environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with method development and validation techniques.
  • Experience with data acquisition software (e.g., Chromeleon, Qtegra).
  • Experience using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) or other data acquisition and management software.
