At Basecamp, we believe that our patients are the true heroes, and we are here to support them every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:The Medical Assistant will be instrumental in assisting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting healthcare professionals in the provision of care and treatment within the recovery facility.
- Handling administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and liaising with external healthcare entities.
- Assisting new patients during their intake process, including conducting urine drug screenings and guiding them through their next steps.
- Monitoring and documenting urine drug screen and blood alcohol content results, promptly reporting any unexpected findings to the medical team.
- Ensuring proper organization and distribution of medications at the end of each day.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly environment within the recovery center.
- Adhering to safety and infection control protocols to safeguard the health of both patients and staff.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide efficient and compassionate care to all patients.

- A certification or diploma in medical assisting from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment, ideally in a similar role within a recovery center.
- Proficiency in fundamental medical procedures, including taking vital signs and providing patient support.
