Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive legal support in the areas of construction litigation and civil litigation, with a special focus on construction defect matters.
  • Conduct meticulous legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate closely with lead attorneys and other team members on case strategy and preparation.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required.
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the construction and civil litigation sectors, and apply this knowledge to current cases.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring they are kept informed and reassured throughout the legal process.

Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Denver State Bar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation, civil litigation, and specifically, construction defect matters.
  • Proven track record of conducting thorough and accurate legal research.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
