Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

This estimate is based on the responsibilities outlined in this job description, including managing multiple contracted services generating $2-15M+ in revenue. The salary range may vary based on factors such as location, industry, and specific requirements of the position.

Job Description

About the Role

As an Operational Director - Service Management, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and guiding multiple contracted services for our clients. You will lead a team of operations managers who provide excellent service to our clients, and work closely with them to ensure that client objectives are met.

You will have expertise in operational management, contract negotiation, and customer relationship building. Your strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support staff will be essential in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of operations managers who provide exceptional service to our clients.
  2. Manage the client and community relationships at the location, continually assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
  3. Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
  4. Recommend methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth based on understanding of operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
  5. Partner with Finance to manage a budget and assist in designing improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
  6. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes, and maintain all associated records and reports.
  7. Implement Aramark's standards of operation, including safety standards and the Business Conduct Policy.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree level education in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support staff.
  • Experience in contract services, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Ability to focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship, and building and growing a strong business.
  • Proven ability leading through other managers.
  • Experience creating and managing a department budget, financial controls, and analysis.
  • Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
