The Behavior Technician Position

As a FirstSteps Behavior Technician, you will have the privilege of helping our young clients diagnosed with autism develop meaningful skills, including communication, socialization, self-care, and school readiness. You will become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with all initial credentialing fees paid by FirstSteps for Kids.

You will work closely with and learn from teachers, parents, FirstSteps BCBAs, and behavioral health/mental health specialists. You will make a significant difference in the lives of so many children and families.

Requirements

To be a successful Behavior Technician at FirstSteps for Kids, you should:

• Have some "kid" experience, demonstrating an interest in child development and commitment to the care and well-being of all children
• Completed education, with college enrollment or degree preferred
• Meet health and safety requirements, including childhood vaccinations and non-reactive TB test
