Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for executing the loading and unloading of materials and products to facilitate operations at Mueller Inc. This role involves the use of various equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes, as well as hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently complete work tasks and fulfill customer orders while ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment to maintain quality standards.
  • Support inventory management processes, including regular updates to the ERP system.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the movement of inventory across different workstations and areas.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum age of eighteen (18) years.
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Ability to obtain certification for operating a forklift and overhead crane.

Compensation and Benefits

  • This is a temp-to-hire position with a starting pay rate of $16.25/hour during the temporary orientation period, transitioning to $16.75/hour after 85 days, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
