Key Responsibilities (additional tasks may be assigned)

  • Oversee the inspection and validation of components sent to the quality division.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections, including any required special certifications.
  • Prepare nonconformance material reports as needed.
  • Support the calibration system for all production measurement tools, addressing corrective actions for both external and internal discrepancies, as well as quality audits.
  • Perform First Article inspections as they are assigned.
  • Implement containment measures on identified suspect products.
  • Supervise the sorting of questionable or nonconforming items.
  • Train and manage temporary staff and sorters engaged in secondary and sorting tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience or familiarity with quality assurance and control systems or a background in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency with basic hand measurement instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, digital scales, and length gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
