Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you'll be responsible for managing and supervising field offices, conducting inspections, and preparing reports. If you have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience with construction projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise field offices and construction field inspection staff
  • Conduct ongoing reviews and verifications of construction activities, schedules, and inspections
  • Assist in preparing and negotiating construction change orders
  • Prepare weekly/monthly project reports
  • Participate in project progress meetings and perform routine assignments
Qualifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction, or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience on multi-disciplinary construction projects, including bridge and street reconstruction
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and related software packages
